Getting Started on Plaza6G
This tutorial helps new users understand how to register, log in, navigate the web interface, and begin running experiments on the Plaza6G platform.
1 Account Creation and Access
Self-Registration (Beta Version)
In the current beta version, users can create their own Plaza6G accounts directly from the web interface.
- Visit plaza6g.eu.
- Click Sign Up in the upper-right corner.
- Fill in your name, email, and password.
- Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Click Create Account to finish.
You will receive a confirmation email. Once validated, you may log in immediately using your credentials.
💡 All Plaza6G beta accounts are currently free of charge.
2 Logging In
After registration, click Login on the Plaza6G homepage. Enter your email and password to access your personal dashboard.
- Credentials are case-sensitive.
- You can reset your password anytime.
- 2FA will be added in future updates.
After a successful login, you will arrive at your Main Dashboard.
3 Navigating the Platform
The Plaza6G interface is designed for clarity and ease of use. The main menu includes:

4 Understanding the User Dashboard
Your dashboard acts as the control center for all Plaza6G activities:

- Quick Actions – Create Experiment, View Experiments, Open Terminal.
- Notifications – Resource warnings, updates, maintenance.
- Help & Chatbot – Assistant always available.
The dashboard adapts dynamically based on your active experiments.
5 Resource Quotas and Policies
Each user is assigned resource quotas for compute, memory, and storage.
- 🖥️ VMs: Maximum number allowed.
- 💾 Storage: Allocated GB.
- ⚙️ CPU/GPU: Usage indicators.
If you exceed quotas, the system will notify you and suggest freeing resources or requesting an increase.
6 First Login Checklist
- Verify your profile information.
- Review your resource quotas.
- Try the Chatbot Assistant.
- Go to Setup Experiment and launch your first scenario.
- Check Grafana dashboards once your experiment is running.
- Open My Experiments to view your tasks.
After this checklist, you're ready to deploy your first experiment.
